Policies and Procedures:
1. Prior to Cleaning: To make sure our cleaning service is more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, and other items prior to a visit for our cleaning teams. If failed to do so an upcharge of price will occur.
2. Cleaning Supplies: We will always arrive at your home or business with our cleaning products and equipment. If there is a special cleaner that you prefer, please contact our office BEFORE the clean and we will notate the work order to use that specific cleaner. Product WILL have to be provided by the client.
3. Cleaning Teams: We usually work in teams of two: however, at times an employee does work alone or in a team of three or more. Team members are trained before they are permitted to enter your home, however, there is on-the-job training required in this line of work. Training continues as we learn about new cleaning products or methods or reinforce prior training. We make every effort to have the same team cleaning your home. But occasionally, there may be a change in team member due to illness or other reasons. We permanently document your work order files so that if we must substitute a team or member, they will have instructions for your home.
4. Quality Assurance: We want to ensure that you are consistently happy with our service, but mistakes may occur. Please notify us within 24 hours of your cleaning if you are displeased with the quality of service so that we can return to correct the items in a timely manner.
5. Pets: Our workers are pet friendly: however, please inform us of your pets prior to arrival. Please understand that our employees do NOT clean animal or human feces, urine, vomit, or other biohazards for health and insurance reasons. We also ask that all animals are securely put away out of our teams’ way for their safety. We need to be able to work freely and without distractions. We cannot assume liability for the safety of others while we are cleaning your space. Be advised that if we are subject to distractions that affect our ability to work in our normal fashion or speed we reserve the right to charge for our extra time spent in the home.
6. Safety: For our team members’ safety, we do not move anything over 35lbs. If you wish to have an obstructed area cleaned, please move furniture prior to arrival. For our safety and the safety of our clients, please notify at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service of any infectious sickness/diseases that occur in your household. All Stamps Cleaning Company reserves the right to cancel and reschedule in such circumstances. If for any reason an employee of Stamps Cleaning Company feel that their personal safety is in danger enough to leave the job site, due to actions by the customer, guests of the customers or others at the job site, the Stamps Cleaning Co. customer will still remain liable for the FULL cost of the job.
7. Cancellations/Reschedules: We prefer a 7-day notice or more due to employee scheduling: however, you may call at least 24 hours before your regularly-scheduled cleaning if a reschedule is needed. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. We charge the FULL amount of cleaning job if less than one business day. We charge a $50 Trip/Lockout fee for cancellations upon arrival to your home or business with the inability to enter the home. We follow the weather advisory of the local ISD and run on their schedule for delays and closures due to weather. We will reschedule if travel is unsafe. Cleaning rates will be adjusted when cleanings are rescheduled or skipped, for skipped cleanings, the rate will adjust according to the time frame between cleanings. For example, if you are a biweekly recurring customer and skip a cleaning, the next cleaning will be at the monthly rate since will have been one month since we last cleaned.
8. Payments: payments are due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to cleaning or late fee will occur. We accept cash, check, zelle, or credit cards. If you are not home prefer to pay by check or credit card, no credit card information is stored electronically. Returned checks are subject to a $25 reprocessing fee.
9. Key/Codes/Alarms: For security reasons, we ask that you arrange for a safe location where a key is hidden or placed for access to your home or business. To maintain the safety of both your property and ours, we do NOT retain physical keys. However, we do keep entry codes on file and kindly request that alarm systems be deactivated prior to our visits. If unable to do so Stamps Cleaning Co. will NOT be held accountable for any false alarms. All access information is securely stored in our database.
10. Vacations and Holidays: Stamps Cleaning Co. is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day and the day after. If you’re regular cleaning lands on one of those days we will reschedule you to another day. Weekly clients will have first choice of rescheduled dates, then bi-weekly, then monthly. If you will be out of town or on vacation during a holiday week please let our office know as soon as possible to avoid a lockout fee.
11. Agreement Policy- When enter into an agreement for services with Stamps Cleaning Co. you agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by Stamps Cleaning Co. for any residential/commercial related services. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff please be advised that our referral/training fee is $2,500 payable to Stamps Cleaning Co. immediately upon employing our staff for any services to your home/business + your maid employee will be terminated immediately from our employment as they will have also be in breach of their own non-solicitation agreement.
12. Referrals- Please let your friends and family know about us. If someone you refer to us uses our services just once you will earn $25 for the referral. However, if that referral continues to use our services for 1 year you will earn a free cleaning after their 1 year anniversary. Please email our office at stampscleaningco@gmail.com to let us know who you have referred so that we can properly track and credit you.
13. Employees: we are responsible for all payroll taxes and insurance coverage for our workers.
14. Stamps Cleaning Co: we are insured and have been serving South Carolina since 2024.
